code: GAMBLER - a mobile friendly mood board + nav

Woke up this morning and needed to kill 3 - 4 hours until Aventurine's banner starts in Honkai Star Rail (GUARANTEE LINED UP, 31 PITY, 72 PULLS SAVED, BAYBEE -- he's coming home), so here is a mobile friendly mood board that I cooked up!
This code is intended to collapse down to a narrow column on mobile displays and narrow layouts. Then, on a full page desktop view, it expands out to one row, making it great for dropboxes and main navs. You can use it as a splash page or just another entry page. THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER, BABY. Have the most fun.
By default, this code comes with four circle links, as that works the best with this code. Technically, though, you can remove some or add a few more, though I can't promise that 5 or more links won't donk the code up on mobile displays.

HOW TO USE:
❣️ Mind those lj-raw tags!!
❣️ This code is mobile compatible -- it's actually specifically coded with mobile displays in mind -- and insanejournal friendly!
❣️ On most desktop/wide screen journal views, especially on insanejournal, you are always going to get the version of this code with the circles on the left. This is intentional. If you would like to permanently force the circles to the top, go to the top of the code and change the "max-width:450px" at the top of the code to "max-width:365px" This will ensure you always see the collapsed version.
❣️ Under the CIRCLES/LINKS section, you can add or remove links by copy-pasting or deleting them, but 1 - 4 is proooobably about where you want to keep it at.
❣️ Don't want the circles to be links? remove the
❣️ Optionally, you can change
❣️ BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR THE MOST PART HERE! Change IMG_URL and #URL_HERE to fit your needs. :)
❣️ I've just blanketedly used #ccc (gray) for every square. For best results, be sure to change this color to better match your aesthetic!
❣️ This code comes with a credit by default. Appreciate it if you leave it in, but you can delete if you want! :) It's at the top of the code this time, but it's still clearly marked.
❣️ I love peeking at what people do with my codes, so feel free to comment if you use! If you're feeling generous, you can also donate to my ko-fi -- it's always greatly appreciated!
❣️ wish me luck on getting jingliu's sig, swordmommy needs her light cone so daniel can inherit death of an aeon.

Using this code as Olly's splash page (and another one of yours for his info page /finger guns). You have so many solid ones, it's kind of hard to actually.... Not use them for everything lmao

I used this code here. But lol I used your permissions and info codes too, haha. This has been my one-stop shop for years. if you ever do full journal layouts (unless you do and im just blind) it's all over. i wanted to ask though on some of your codes i see something called a "want list". What is that? I'm not sure I've heard of it, at least by that name.
hope you're having a super reat day and i hope you got jingliu's sig! without hitting pity even!!

VERY CUTE mood board and I'm glad you're enjoying using my codes!! SOMETIMES I do think about doing layouts, but when it comes to full layouts I generally need a picture in my head of what I want the end result to be before I can tool around with code, and I struggle to think up stuff that hasn't been done.
As far as "want list", I'm not 100% sure! I don't recall adding that to any of my codes recently? But I also forget like 40% of the codes I've released all the time dsjkhgfdsf. You might've seen "wanted lines"? That is an original character game culture term that's used in place of like App This Please/Enable Me Please ATP/EMP, and it's used to request CR you'd like to have -- seeking a sibling character, an ex-boyfriend, or an academic/professional rival, for example.

and thank you so much! and thank you for making this. it's such a neat design yes!! i always like to see what else is out there, but keep coming back here because you have such like, idk, your imagination feels unlimited. like, for me, you're the undisputed monarch of geometric layouts, but you can do so many other styles just beautifully, too.
wanted lines, yes!!! i really should not type on my phone, it is absolutely unhinged with autocorrect and i won't notice because they'll be correct words just not what i typed. also oooh, excellent, i was curious about that because i'd never head that term before even though i've played ocs more than not. that's super interesting! where does the "line" part of it come from?

You know, I used to know why we called them lines, and now I can't remember lmao. It's basically synonymous with the term CR/Character Relationship. Asked a friend with a better memory than me, and we THINK it's that it's short for "storyline". Kind of like the 'SL' in PSL and GPSL.
