🎵 over-designed biosheet codes! 🎵 o👏ver👏de👏si👏gned biosheet codes! 👏👏 🎵

SAY HELLO TO Pitch Deck, a biosheet code that started out taking inspiration from corporate marketing power point presentations and then just kind of did whatever it wanted from there. God Bless. I both love and hate making codes like this one. The ones that are just, a lot of shit going on, you know? They're fun to figure out, and then when they're done, I'm like, "Oh bud this is gonna be a nightmare to use." And yet still I release them lmao. ANYWAY.

Pitch Deck is divided into 5 sub-sections, classified by rows. They're all optional and scalable (lol see how I busted out the HR speak). They are:

  • HEADER: which features a 3x3 mood/color board & stat block box.

  • APPEARANCE: formatted pretty specifically for an appearance section. does what it says on the tin.

  • PERSONALITY: comes with a basic traits list and space for a text summary that'll auto scale no matter how much you write.

  • BACKGROUND: timeline format; I'm gonna isolate this subsection and release it as a standalone for plot calendars and such. stay tuned.

  • TWO COLUMNS OF CONTENT: column 1 is "cards" for abilities, for example; column 2 is a block, for misc facts or connections, or stuff like that. this subsection also contains OOC info.

HOW TO USE

❣️ Mind those lj-raw tags!!

❣️ This code is mobile compatible, and PROVIDED THAT YOU PUT THE CODE UNDER AN LJ-CUT, it is also insanejournal friendly!

❣️ ROW 1: MOOD/COLOR BOARD INSTRUCTIONS:
  • All 9 squares are coded to accept a single color, an image, and potentially text.

  • If you'd like to add an image to a square, change IMG_URL to a relevant image.

  • If you'd like to change a color, adjust the preceding hex code (the default hex codes you can search for are listed below).

  • If you want to add text, add it just before the close div tag.
❣️ ROW 1: STAT BLOCK INSTRUCTIONS:
  • By default, the stat block box comes with 6 single-line stats and 1 multi-line stat.

  • Use the multi line "MORE TEXT" stat block for: concept line, contacts/lines/cr, very short ABOUT section, recipe for clam chowder, etc. It'll auto generate a scroll wheel when it has a lot of text in it.

  • If you remove the multi-line "MORE TEXT" option completely, you can have up to 8 total single line stats before the box will generate a big ugly scroll bar.

  • If you don't need 6 single-line stat options, you can remove them and the multi-line one will expand to fit the space.

  • If you just have less than 6 total stats to represent in your bio in general, I'm gonna be honest, you're probably better off picking one of my other biosheet codes to use.
❣️ ROW 2: APPEARANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
  • First column is for a written description/important notes.

  • Second column includes some basic fields, and 2 spaces for character/aesthetic pics. Be sure to change IMG_URL
❣️ ROW 3: PERSONALITY INSTRUCTIONS:
  • This code is built to accept a combo of short trait list AND brief-to-very-long block text personality write up. If you don't have an actual personality write up and are just relying on a trait list, I'm not gonna lie, it's probably going to donk the code up. One of my other biosheets may serve your needs better!

  • The trait lists WILL scale, so you can add as many as you want. Don't worry about having too many.

  • You can also completely delete the trait list (it's marked out in the code) and just have a text summary and THAT will work with no further tweaking.
❣️ ROW 4: BACKGROUND INSTRUCTIONS:
  • By default, this "timeline"-styled code comes with a FAMILY section at the top, but it's pretty much identical to all subsections, so you don't need to keep it.

  • By default, the code comes with 1 "FAMILY" section, and 2 "HISTORY ITEM" sections.

  • The !!your text here!! content is where your write ups go.

  • Each "history item" section will expand to accept any amount of text, so if you want your history to be one big square, you can just have one "history item" section.

  • You can also copy-paste additional "history item" sections to add more. Be sure to change the !!TIME HEADER!! section.
❣️ ROW 5: TWO COLUMNS INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Column one is a standard "card" subsection, and I've customized it in the default to be an "ABILITIES" section.

  • To add additional "abilities" cards, copy-paste where indicated in the code.

  • Be sure to customize both the !!ABILITY HEADER!! text, and the !!your content here!! body text.

  • Column two is a block text section, good for "MISC FACTS" or "CONNECTIONS" or just more random write up. Stuff like that. It's totally just styled to accept whatever text, nothing too fancy.

  • The OOC section is ALSO in this subsection lmao so, I guess fill that out too if you wanna. Or delete it.
❣️ To update the colors in this code, use find-replace to change these HEX CODES:
  • hex code #72508a light purple, used extensively throughout the code.

  • hex code #4f246d dark purple, used extensively throughout the code.

  • hex code #333 a dark gray used throughout for text & headers.

  • hex code #fff is WHITE, and used throughout for text & headers.
❣️ Remember, my loves, to check for the IMG_URL placeholder text and ensure it is updated to an image URL if you'd like.

❣️ You can absolutely shuffle the order of things around if you want, but changing the header alignments may require a bit of poking around at the code. YOU CAN DO IT!

❣️ You can customize the header text! The first letter of each header word is wrapped in a SPAN tag, so just make sure you watch for that. For instance, if you want to change BACKGROUND to HISTORY, you'll want to go to that specific header and manually change the "B" to an "H" and "ACKGROUND" to "ISTORY".

❣️ All sections are optional, the code will continue to function if you decide you only want certain sections.

❣️ This code contains a CREDIT at the bottom. I would appreciate it if you left it in place! However, you're free to remove it if you'd like.
