So I says to myself, I says, I want a dynamic code that someone (absolutely not me I'm serious 😤) could use for all the informational pages on their game. Locations? Check. Species? Check. Rules page? Yep. You could even repurpose it into a muse/character list for your CDJ or a CR chart for an individual character.
This code uses grids to provide a neat shuffled look for things like important locations in your setting, species like werewolves, or NPC mini bios. If you have more text than can fit in the box, no worries! It's set to automatically scroll for overflow, preserving the look of the layout.
By the way, I think my character list code, Chip, is pretty decently matchy with this, as well, if you want to build a set.
This code pack features
1. The base code for the above example, a grid-based list featuring space for an image, a header, and text.
2. A secondary base code that features the header, footer, and a styled sub-header, for things like premise pages, rules pages, and just for posting logs, if you wanna.
3. (In the comments) A few very simple styled codes to turn this into a cast list or CR chart. See the bottom of this post for a live example.

❣️ This code is mobile friendly and insanejournal friendly!
❣️ Want more cards on your layout? Just copy and paste the code that runs from -- LEFT CARD -- to -- LEFT CARD: END -- or -- RIGHT CARD -- to -- RIGHT CARD: END --. Remember to alternate them!
❣️ Replace IMG_URL with the picture you'd like to use. I'd suggest using a gif!
❣️ hex code #ccc controls the color of the header, footer, and all subheaders.
❣️ hex code #000 controls the main font color, while hex code #fff controls the font color of header text.
❣️ If this code doesn't feel wide enough, you can change every instance of max-width:650px to something a little wider. Almost everything will automatically scale. Doing max-width:750px looks alright, but not perfect, IMO. No matter what you set max-width to, this code should still only fill the screen on mobile, and not generate a horizontal scroll bar.

TO USE:
- PASTE THIS CODE OVER THE LJ-RAW and /LJ-RAW TAGS in the square where you want the content to appear. It needs to overwrite them!
- I've marked out where each progress bar starts to make it easier to see the code so you can add more by copy pasting.
- You can customize the text of rating #1, rating #2, etc. to things like "Power" or "Speed" or "Ability To Eat Uncooked Frozen Burritos" or whatever.
- Want to change the color of the progress bar? Adjust the following: "background: rgb(131,58,180);background: linear-gradient(90deg, rgba(131,58,180,1) 0%, rgba(252,176,69,1) 100%);". There is a css gradient generator over here.
- Alternatively, if you just want a solid color, delete everything but one "background:" and paste a hex code for a color you'd like after it. For example, it should look like: background:#ccc;
