code: FLASH CARDS - a permissions code for comments!

FLASH CARDS is a very simple permissions (or field guide, or anything really) code that can be posted in the comments beneath a post. Super big thanks to [personal profile] chiming for the inspo on this!

For a live preview of this code, head down to the comments.

This code is intended for comments only and as written, it does not work properly in the main body of a post. It is meant to be sort of matchy with the HOTGOSS info page code, although the default coloring is purple, rather than teal.

CODE HERE:

HOW TO USE:
❣️ Again, this code only works in comments. It will not work properly in the body of a post.

❣️ Mind those lj-raw tags!!

❣️ This code is mobile compatible and insanejournal friendly!

❣️ The default styling for this code is two cards: IC Permissions and OOC Permissions, with a few suggested entries. You can edit this to suit your needs! These were just the items used in the game this was originally designed for.

❣️ You can add or remove cards by copy-pasting or deleting boxes. The code will technically scale infinitely, but keep overall text character limits in mind when you're posting. I believe InsaneJournal's comment character limits are smaller than Dreamwidth's, so you may not be able to fit as many extra boxes over there.

❣️ hex code #654f7c is your banner background and shadow color.

❣️ hex code #d2b2f4 is the header font color.

❣️ #000 (black) is called at the top of the code and is the general font color. Change this if you'd like a different font color for the body text.

❣️ This code comes with a credit by default. Appreciate it if you leave it in, but you can delete if you want! :)

❣️ I love peeking at what people do with my codes, so feel free to comment if you use! If you're feeling generous, you can also donate to my ko-fi.
